USC STUDENTS CALL FOR CAST FOR INDIE SHORT ‘MERIDIAN’

Open casting call for experienced & non-experienced actors for supernatural romance, ‘Meridian’ will take place on Thursday, June 5, 2008 and Friday June 6, 2008 between
7:00 – 9:00 pm at 1615 Senate Street at the University of South Carolina’s McMaster College.

Meridian is a tale of second chances and plays on the possibilities of time travel to rectify past events. Shooting is scheduled for the week of June 23-June29 in Columbia, Newberry, and Aiken.

More Audition dates to be announced as needed.

The short film will be produced for distribution to film festival circuits by Frosty Palm Studios LLC, Fusioncorp Design Mediahouse, and the University of South Carolina. Ryan Phillips, winner of the Best Edited Film at the 2005 Rochester Young Audiences Film Festival, will helm the film as its director. Miguel Felipe Berg, producer of ‘Rx’, a selection at the 2008 ReelHeART International Film Festival in Toronto and the recent ‘Before Your Eyes’ student short feature film, will serve as the film’s producer. Tony Mencilla Senior of Film at Hunter College in New York City will serve as Director of Photography.
Actors will benefit from experience and exposure. Unfortunately, we cannot offer compensation at this time.
